Four things move the number: the volume of what is going, the access at both ends, how much of the packing you want done for you, and how far it is travelling. Nothing else. Not the time of year, not how urgent it sounds, not what somebody else quoted.
That is also what makes quotes comparable. If you are weighing us against another firm, check that both quotes have measured the same volume and assume the same amount of packing — most of the difference between two prices lives there.
